Ratbag have been extremely busy in the last year, doubling their in-house talent while taking on several major PC and PS2 projects. These remain top secret at this point but, as we were able to reveal late last year, the games will go outside their previous racing efforts and be strongly character driven action titles.
Aussie developer Ratbag's next racing title Dirt Track Racing Sprint Cars is just around the corner. The follow up to last year's budget hit Dirt Track Racing dispenses with the souped up stock cars and instead offers crazy machines with distinctive angled wings and top speeds of up to 170mph. We can expect the full game in a month or so and we should soon have the brand new demo ready for your racing enjoyment.

Azuro office serial macx. In the midst of all this, the Ratbaggers have responded to the pleas of diehard fans of DTR for sprint car racing. Now the next game in the series is almost ready for release. But that's not to say that Ratbag are merely cashing in with a sequel -- they've spent a full year getting the physics and artwork just right for Sprint Cars.
We recently grabbed Ratbag's Director of Development Tom Crago and asked him about the creative motivation to make the new game and what sprint car fans should expect. 'In a lot of ways, DTR paved the way for DTRSC,' says Crago. 'Sprint Car racing has a huge following in the United States. I've attended a couple of races and the atmosphere is just unbelievable. My personal view is that Sprint Car racing should have been a game before it was a real life sport. It's pretty insane. These guys fly around tight tracks at 170mph, and the vehicles have a power to weight ratio greater even than Formula One cars. The dirt flies, the cars crash and the acceleration is unbelievable. It's an amazing spectacle and we've tried to reproduce it as much as possible in the game.'
Any other doubts that the Ratbag guys are really dedicated to producing the best possible sprint car game? Well to make sure they had a deeper understanding of the actual sport, the guys also decided to sponsor a sprint car for a couple of televised events this year.
Ratbag VP of Marketing and Business Development Mark Bracken was quite excited about the move from the virtual to the physical world of racing. According to Bracken, 'The #10 Team Ratbag sprint car made a huge impact at the event - No it didn't hit a wall. Tyler Walker made a special appearance and sped his way to win the Channellock Dash, win the Heat race, whilst finishing sixth in the A-feature running on six cylinders for the last five laps.'
Tamil serial actor salary. The guys were certainly excited to get their hands on one of those four-foot checks.
Players of DTRSC will also be keen to get their hands on the big money, as the game will follow a similar career structure to its predecessor with prize money to upgrade your car for the tougher races. Money can be spent on engine upgrades, tires (Firestone's are not available), repairs and entirely new cars. Four different cars are available with 50 different 'skins'.

Unlike the original DTR that used a range of fictitious tracks (based very closely on real-world tracks), DTRSC will feature 20 real-world tracks from various American locations. Track lengths will vary between quarter-mile to three-quarter mile, banking will vary from flat to 33 degrees and the track surface will feature both dirt and clay, with different handling characteristics for each.
Charles craft bread maker. Aside from the single-player career mode, DTRSC has extensive multiplayer support via Internet and LAN. The original DTR has developed quite a cult following as an on-line game and Sprint Cars has been designed to build directly on this with connectivity available between the two games. https://onever878.weebly.com/blog/minder-x20cls-manual-arts.
Tom Crago was keen to talk about the somewhat surprising success of DTR on-line and how Ratbag hope to continue down that path with Sprint Cars, 'We were totally blown away by the success of DTR online. It exceeded our expectations. There really is a great sense of camaraderie among online racers, and we think that camaraderie will be taken to a new level with Dirt Track Racing - Sprint Cars. We want to play a key role in the development of an online racing culture, and already people associate Ratbag really positively with online gaming. We're committed to that, and DTRSC is the next step along the road. We're told that DTR is one of the biggest selling PC racing games around at the moment, and we're hopeful that DTRSC will do even better.'
Dirt Track Racing Games For Ps2
The release does sound a little like an add-on pack as we are not getting a new 3D engine. But the original was released at under $20 - cheaper than most add-on packs. With DTR: Sprint Cars likely to have a similar price point and multi-player connectivity with the original, things are looking good. We were quite big fans of the original DTR and Sprint Cars looks as though we should be getting some more great racing action from the gang at Ratbag.
